Statement from Aurora family mediation regarding Coronavirus COVID-19.
We are monitoring the situation and complying with government advice regarding Coronavirus. We wish to reassure our clients that our office is open. If you are booking in for an initial meeting (MIAMS) we continue to carry these out on Zoom or WhatsApp or similar as well as face to face in our office locations where preferred.
We ask that if a client has tested positive or someone they have been in close contact with has tested positive for Coronavirus that they contact our admin department who will rearrange the appointment for a more suitable time or to mediate online instead.
If you have any queries please contact email@example.com and we will be happy to help.
Aurora Family Mediation works with couples and families in the process of separation or divorce to help them find the most amicable, cost-effective solution possible. Whether you are married or cohabiting, with or without children, we can help you.
We are trained family and divorce lawyers and mediators. Nicolette Zarka and Joy Burden are both FMC Accredited mediators (FMCA). Nicolette Zarka, and Joy Burden are recognised by the Family mediation council ("FMC") to carry out mediation. Not all family mediators are recognised by the FMC. We are recognised to carry out Mediation information and assessment meetings ("MIAMS"). We understand that when a relationship breaks down it is a stressful and difficult time for everyone involved. We will work with both of you providing a safe, secure environment where you can discuss your issues calmly and we will help you find the best solution possible.
We offer Legal aid for family mediation in our Hitchin and Milton Keynes Offices (public funding). Speak to us if you think you may be eligible for this funding. You would not have to pay for mediation if you obtain Legal aid.

Many people come to mediation because they would like to work out their arrangements together with input from an impartial specially trained mediator. We help you focus discussions and give information where this may be of use. At Aurora family mediation we explain the process in an initial meeting in which we take basic information from you and prepare for a first full meeting. We are happy to speak to you on the telephone to answer any questions about the process free of charge.
